Directions

  1. Lightly wet a clean microfiber pad with SMARTGUARD SP and wring out the excess, leaving the pad damp.
  2. Apply a light, fine spray of SMARTGUARD SP to a small section of the floor using a clean pump sprayer fitted with a 0.5 gpm spray tip.
  3. Using a damp microfiber pad, immediately spread SMARTGUARD SP to produce a thin, even coating. Spread the product as far as possibly while maintaining a wet edge. Avoid overlapping.
  4. Allow to dry tack free, typically 60-90 minutes.
  5. Once dry, burnish SMARTGUARD SP using a high-speed burnisher fitted with a hogs-hair extreme pad. In addition to polishing the treated surface, high-speed burnishing heats the SMARTGUARD SP to help the treatment fuse and bond with the concrete for increased durability.
  6. Repeat steps 1-5 above as necessary for the desired finish. Burnish between coats.

Safety

  • Handling: Wear suitable gloves and eye protection. Ensure adequate ventilation during application.
  • Storage: Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and frost. Keep the container tightly closed.
  • Flammability: SmartGuard SP is non-flammable but can emit toxic fumes when exposed to flame. Keep away from heat and open flames.
  • First Aid:
    • Eye Contact: Rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical advice.
    • Skin Contact:  Wash with soap and water.
    • Ingestion:  Do NOT induce vomiting. Seek medical attention immediately.
    • Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, seek medical attention. Use artificial respiration if necessary.
